We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage
(EYFS), which includes 6 areas of learning:
- Personal, social and Emotional
development
- Communication, language and literacy
development
- Problem solving and numeracy
- Knowledge and understanding of the
world
- Physical development
- Creative development
All of these are achieved through play.
We also operate a key worker system, which we feel provides the highest
possible level of care.
Children are entitled to claim Early Years Funding from the term after
they are three, and this covers three hours.
We provide our children with fresh
drinking water throughout the session, and offer a healthy snack for
break time which includes plenty of fresh fruit and veg, with milk or
water to drink.
Our registered owner is BCM International
UK Anchor Trust. Our Preschool takes place in the Bible Club Centre,
which was opened in 1947 as a children’s Church. Since then it has
greatly changed but still aims to provide children with good quality
care and encourage Christian values.

into the 5 Welfare Requirements, and are available in a folder at all
times, please ask a member of staff for access:
